Woot-woot!
So I mentioned last week that we might be getting new cabinets, and I am happy to report that we are! We are currently under construction and without our kitchen, and have been for about week now, but we're perfectly fine with that because the kitchen is going to be amazing! We get new cabinets, new wood flooring, and we actually get a dishwasher!! I'm so excited for it to be done, it'll be great! Pictures will come soon!

And so it begins...
So, I saw that a lot of married couples now have their own little blog pages, so I figured, "What the heck!" Hopefully this will be a good way to keep everybody up to date on our new life, but if not.. oh well.
At the moment, our lives are pretty simple. Tucker's still going to school, and I'm working at Apx still but taking a couple online classes through UVSC (which is so much nicer than not going to school at all). Yeah, that's pretty much our lives. Although we did have a little bit of excitment this past week when we discovered some mushrooms growing in our kitchen. Yes, that's right, mushrooms. Turns out we have a small leak in one of our pipes that kept the carpet next to the cabinets just wet enough for the fungi to grow, so we're supposed to have a plumber out today to fix that up for us. Some good news coming out of this though: we get new kitchen cabinets courtesy of our landlords! Yep, the water did so much damage to the cabinets (not to mention they're really old), that they'll be buying some new ones for the basement. We might even be getting some tile or wood flooring in the kitchen too, which would be incredible because it's currently carpet.
All in all, our apartment is finally a clean and comfortable home... with the exception of our bedroom. Still trying to figure out the best way to get that room organized, but we'll get there.
